Story

I made Encores for when I want to put on great live performances and let the channel do the choosing. I grew up as a millennial watching MTV and letting whatever was on shape what I watched. Everything is on demand now, which is useful, but I wanted to push back on that a little. Live performances have shaped how I hear music for a long time. Some of my favorite versions of songs are live, and there is just an energy to a live show that you do not always get in a studio.

A channel mixes live shows with docs, music videos, and interviews so it stays a little more dimensional and feels like programming instead of a playlist.

This web app is for my son, Matias, who is a music lover.
